AIPGMEE 2014 Vs NEET PG 2013 Cut off Score: An Analysis

The AIPGMEE general category cut off rank for 2014 stands at 23,094 which mark a huge jump from the cut off score for NEET 2013, which stood at 16,452. However, in terms of test takers AIPGMEE 2014 witnessed a decrease by almost 20,000 as 70073 appeared for the test compared to 90,377 the previous year for admission to All India 50% quota seats in Government Medical colleges in India.

Similarly, a comparison of the number of candidates who  participated in the AIPGMEE 2014 online counseling reflect that with 30,495 out of 70,073 more test takers took part for counselling in the present year compared to NEET 2013 where only 27, 280 joined the counselling process out of 90, 377 candidates.

• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen
• Candidates should possess MBBS degree/Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from an institute recognized as per the provisions of Indian Medical Council Act
• AIPGMEE 2015 aspirants should possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council
• Applicant should have completed one year of internship or will complete it before March 31, 2015
• It is mandatory for candidates to produce documentary proof of registration with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council

AIPGMEE 2015 Important Note:

• Candidates who have either passed or have studied MBBS from universities or colleges of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible to apply for AIPGMEE 2015
• Those candidates who have been nominated by Government of India (under central pool seats) to pursue MBBS from colleges and universities of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are eligible to apply
• Candidates who is undergoing 12 month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete it by March 31, 2015 can appear in the examination, but they will not be eligible for admission unless they will complete compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before March 31, 2015

• MBBS degree/Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate must be recognized as per the criteria of Indian Medical Council Act
• Candidates must have permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council
• Applicants of AIPGMEE 2015 must have completed one year of internship or likely to complete on or before March 31, 2015

Exam Pattern: AIPGMEE 2015 exam will be a computer based test as per the syllabus prescribed by Graduate Medical Education Regulations. AIPGMEE 2015 exam will have 300 Multiple Choices Questions (MCQ), with single correct response. There will be no negative marking in AIPGMEE 2015.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected for 50% All India quota seats solely on the basis of rank in the AIPGMEE 2015 result. The AIPGMEE 2015 merit list will be prepared only for those candidates who will secure the qualifying marks in the entrance test.
