Strategy and Focus Area:
According to Dr Sumer Sethi, Director of Delhi Academy of Medical Sciences the focus should be on concepts and one should have a thorough knowledge of facts. In the last couple of years, very few repeat questions have been asked and, hence, the traditional approach of reading ten year papers might not work. Also, the pattern of AIPGMEE 2015 (as seen in AIPGMEE 2014) may have more one liner and visual questions based on ECG's, CT scans, USGs, instruments and histology.

AIPGMEE 2014 topper Elamvazhuthi, says students should also expect many image based questions which are, generally, basic in nature. Hence, he suggests that students should study and understand each and every concept with the help of a picture.

“Just revise all the basic image based model questions in every subject just before the exam,” adds Elamvazhuthi.

Preparation strategy & recommend books for AIPGMEE 2015:  

The syllabus of AIIPGMEE 2015 is vast as it covers topics from subjects which are taught during MBBS like pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical. According to AIPGMEE 2015 syllabus, there will be 300 multiple choice questions (MCQ) from 16 subjects. Therefore, one book will not sufficient for AIPGMEE 2015 preparation.

Elamvazhuthi AIPGMEE 2014 advises aspirants to study subject wise Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) books and revise it before the exam. He says, it is possible to revise subject-wise completed MCQ books within 6-8 months.

Time need to prepare for AIPGMEE 2015:
Hard work and sincere dedication is the best strategy for AIPGMEE 2015 preparation. According to toppers, aspirants may start their preparation after their internship and 6 to 8 months is an ideal time to prepare for the exam. The syllabus is vast so while preparation students must divide time according to subject’s weightage. One or two week is sufficient for vast subject and 3-4 days for short subjects.

How to deal with Harrisons Internal Medicine:
Students who have clarity on the basic concepts of medicine can refer to the Harrisons Internal Medicine. However, toppers suggest that one should spend too much time on reading standard text books, especially, if you have less time.

Approach to Social Preventive Medicine (SPM):
SPM is a very important subject for entrance preparation. Try to spend more time in studying SPM. Study SPM MCQ books thoroughly and it is also advisable to take SPM mock test. If you get any important points from ‘Park’ just note that in the MCQ book itself. Do not waste time on reading all the contents given in textbook.

AIPGMEE 2015 Syllabus:
