Top Engineering Entrance Exams in India 2015 – Part I

Engineering is still the course of choice for students who pursue the science stream in class XI and XII in India. Well, this is no longer just a statement because we have stats to substantiate these claims.
Going by figures shared by official sources, JEE Main 2014 was undertaken by more than 13 lakh students. Apart from JEE, other popular engineering entrance exams like VITEEE, BITSAT, EAMCET and UPSEE saw registrations from 1.90 lakh, 1.80 lakh, 3.95 lakh and 1.83 lakh students respectively in 2014.

Most of the engineering entrance exams are conducted at the national level. However, there are some popular BTech entrance tests that are conducted at the state level and students should consider appearing for them as well if they want to receive quality education in the engineering branch of their choice.
So, some of the popular engineering entrance tests students should consider appearing for in India are as follows:
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
